iBikeChallenge, Team Bike Challenge Privacy Policy

The creators of iBikeChallenge and the organizers of Team Bike Challenge value your privacy. No personally identifiable information shall be collected or shared without first collecting your opt-in permission in accordance with California Online Privacy Protection Act of 2003 (OPPA).

iBikeChallenge records your bike trips by first asking your permission to access your location as reported by the device's GPS receiver. You will be prompted with a standard dialog such as: '"iBikeChallenge" Would Like to Use Your Current Location'. By tapping 'OK', you hereby consent to allow iBikeChallenge to record GPS data during your trip.

iBikeChallenge transmits your iPhone’s Unique Device Identifier (UDID) along with your trip data to the Team Bike Challenge (TBC) database in order to group trip data by user. By tapping 'Save', you hereby consent to allow the Bay Area Bicycle Coalition (BABC) to access your trip data for the purposes of tallying eligible rides and awarding points to individuals & teams according to TBC rules posted here: http://www.youcanbikethere.com/tbcrules

Anonymized data may be made available to 3rd parties for purposes such as transportation planning and travel demand modeling in accordance with TBC privacy policy posted here.
