Long after Team Bike Challenge has ended, you can compete as an individual all year round in our iBikeChallenge competition. Starting this June, you can compete with bike commuters all over the San Francisco Bay Area to record the most bicycle trips and miles. Here’s how it works:

1. If you aren’t already registered, go to: http://www.youcanbikethere.com/user/register

2. Log in at the top right of the page

3. Record your bike trips on our website, by clicking on “Create a New Ride” in the Team Bike Challenge Menu located at the top right of each page.

You can also record bike rides by downloading our iBikeChallenge iPhone App and recording your rides using your phone’s GPS.

4. Every day you take a bike trip is worth 1 point.

5. Total daily mileage is worth the following points:
1 point - 0 to 10 miles

- 2 points - 10 to 20 miles

- 3 points - 20+ points

6. Each month we’ll have a new leaderboard for that month so you can compete to be the top commuter each month.

7. We’ll also maintain an overall individual leaderboard showing the total points that each person has accumulated so you can track your total points.

iBikeChallenge for iPhone

The iBikeChallenge is a free application for the iPhone that uses GPS support to record your bike trips for the Team Bike Challenge.  No need to fill out a web form, just tap start, ride and tap save.

Not only does it record your trips for you but it also saves maps of your rides so you can keep track of all the places you've biked.  You can use it to check your points on the go and track your progress up the Team Bike Challenge ranks with the built in leaderboard.  As you complete medal challenges for bonus points, iBikeChallenge keeps a gallery of all your earned and unearned medals so you can see what other points are waiting to be earned.

NOTE: Apple, Inc. is not a sponsor of, or responsible for conducting, the Team Bike Challenge promotion.
